Koo Koo Bites

Chop and mix 2 leaks, a bundle of dill and a bundle of mint with 4 eggs. Add a tbs barberry and a tbs of grinded walnut then
season with salt and pepper.

Preheat the oven to 220C, cut half baked ciabatta bread in slices and spread a bit of an olive oil on them. Then a tbs of the mix on each piece. Let it stay in the oven for 10 min.

The tastiest dinner ever


This afternoon while biking home Soline suggested we swap our roles. She is Bahar and I am Soline. She cooks. I take a shower, sit back, and read my book till the diner is ready. Only under one condition: I should stay away from her! She'll choose what to cook, get the ingredients sorted out and prepares the dish. I couldn't agree more!
She did a great job in being "me". Came to the bath room while I was under shower to make sure I don't waste too much water and am ready in three minutes! Once out, she came to check whether I am using my body lotion, smeared some on my back quickly, and headed back to her kitchen prepared a nice plate full of strawberries, cherries and peach for me.



Once ready, she asked me to set the table and tada!

Nuts and Chickpeas Burger

tasty, easy and quick!
All you need for 4 person: 100g Oatmeal, 150 mixed nuts, 1 onion, 1 egg, some mixed herbs, smoked paprika powder, a can of chickpeas

grind and mix everything

add the egg

put them in the mid section of the oven (250 C 5-10 min)
serve with a tasty sauce, wait! how to make the sauce?

rasp half a cucumber and squeeze it in a sieve to get rid of its water 

squeeze a garlic clove and a lemon on it , add salt, pepper and oregano and mix it with a pack of sour cream

Tada!

Prawn and Green Asparagus


It's asparagus fever time for me. Put asparagus and prawns together add some fresh and grated cheese on top, season with asparagus sauce and enjoy this delicious meal!

stir 300-500 grams asparagus that you've cut in big pieces with butter, set aside. stir fry 500 gram prawns in a bit of olive oil, in which you've fried 3 chopped garlics and chilli pepper and add to asparagus.

add fresh cheese with herb, asparagus sauce and grated cheese on top, put it in the oven (180C) for 20-30 minutes.

Wok with Cranberries

It's been a couple of weeks that I've converted to a vegetarian. One day three of us decided to stop eating meat and poultry. To be clear, fish, egg, and dairy products are not excluded.

Here is what I made for tonight

It's Japanese noodle with vegetable and vegan meat (simply a mixture of eggs and flour!). 

marinate vegan meat with pieces of ginger (one finger size), two garlic cloves, and sweet soy sauce for 30 min.
use whatever you like! I used what you see in this picture: flat beans, mushrooms, broccoli, yellow bell pepper, carrot, bean sprout and leek
heat a table spoon of sesame oil, add Chinese 5 spices.Toss in vegetables and fry for 3-5 min. Add cranberries, vegan meat and its marinating sauce. Toss in noodles, dish and serve hot sprinkled with chopped coriander.

A Recipe for Sint's BD!

Tonight is Sinterklaas's birthday when he goes door by door and surprises kids with presents they wished to receive. Tonight a special dinner should be made, a dinner no similar to any other night's dinner.

A tasty, jolly, and wintery dinner


Cut onions and fry in a bit of olive oil, add chopped bell pepper, apple and ginger. Steam sprouts for 3 min. before adding them to the mix. Add cashews and sliced smoked sausage, which has been in hot water for 20 min.
